Our Clean Clinic Policy

At the Guildford Clinic, cleanliness is paramount. In addition to our cleaning staff and anti-bacterial hand-washes throughout the Clinic, we have implemented a laminar flow infection control system in all theatre areas to minimise infection.  

Annual Health Check 2008/09 Declaration

The Guildford Clinic has submitted its declaration against the Care Quality Commission core standards from May 2009 to May 2010.  The standards are a key part of the Care Quality Commission's Annual Health Check and the ratings for 2008/09 will be published in the Autumn. The standards fall into seven categories:

• Safety
• Clinical and cost effectiveness
• Governance
• Patient focus
• Accessible and responsive care
• Care environment and amenities
• Public health
   

The standards are measured in a number of ways and comments are included from the Strategic Health Authority NHS South East Coast, the Royal Surrey Patient and Public Involvement Forum, Surrey PCT and Surrey County Council Health Scrutiny Committee.
