Meet the management team
Jayne Cassidy – Chief Executive

Jayne Cassidy is the Chief Executive responsible for the day to day running of the Guildford Clinic. She has spent 25 years in healthcare in both public and private sectors within the UK. Jayne worked in a variety of NHS and military (RAF) facilities in nursing and management roles prior to joining the private sector in 1993. Her career took her to Nuffield hospitals where she managed two hospitals prior to joining HCA International Ltd.
Within HCA Jayne worked as Chief Operating Officer at The Wellington Hospital and Interim Chief Executive Officer at The Portland Hospital for Women and Children and has most recently been involved in developing new business for the group. As Director for Development she has formed two limited liability partnerships for outpatient and diagnostic services. She is qualified with a Masters in Business Administration.
Mike Scott – Medical Director
Dr Scott is a Consultant Anaesthetist working at the Royal Surrey NHS Trust, Guildford. Whilst undertaking his studies he worked in many different healthcare systems abroad, including, Canada, Australia and Hong Kong. Dr Scott holds practising privileges at Nuffield Hospitals in Guildford and Woking, Mount Alvernia Hospital, Guildford, London Harley Street, London Bridge Hospital, and the Cromwell Hospital in London. Dr Scott is a founder and Board member of IHS ltd and is Chairman of the Medical Advisory Council of IHS
Elaine Banerjee – Head of Clinical Services
Elaine is responsible for managing all our Clinical staff and delivering a high standard of care within the Clinic. She has been in the medical profession for over 30 years, predominantly within the private sector where she has worked in a variety of departments gaining wide experience across all medical specialities. Prior to joining the Guildford Clinic, she was at the Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital for eight years, joining as a Staff Nurse, and moving her way up through a variety of positions, until she became Inpatient Manager in her last year. Elaine is a qualified Registered Nurse and believes in maintaining her skills through being directly involved with patient care.
